These customers were looking to downsize, fell in love with the location of this townhome and were willing to wait for a full renovation to move in. Stripping the popcorn ceiling from the vaulted ceilings in the living room was a big job that included remudding and finishing for a more contemporary look. The kitchen was reconfigured to provide a larger entertaining space with a central island – also providing more storage space. In the master bath, the tub was removed and replaced with a larger shower and a nice utility closet for second floor storage.
When renovating in a strata – the attention to details is not only in the renovation, but working in tight quarters on those days when parking was needed for multiple trades. In this community the neighbours really look out for each other and we spent time showing neighbours the work we were doing.
