Steve Kemp – President/Owner
Steve has been building things since high school. He started with swimming pools, then worked on the construction of residential homes in Ontario and Alberta. He moved to sales and marketing for a prestige custom home builder. Over 40 years later he continues his commitment to building high performance traditional homes and renovations. Steve works with his suppliers and customers to educate, inform and keep up to date with products and technologies that bring energy efficiencies to each project. He shares that passion with his industry colleagues through his involvement with the Greater Vancouver Homebuilders and is currently Vice-Chair of the Renovation Council. Steve has built a network of highly qualified trades and suppliers who also share his commitment. Beyond the technology he believes a great project is built on great customer relationship. Steve works with each customer to build that relationship from the initial dreaming through to project completion.
Michael Chase – Construction Manager
Michael followed his family footsteps into the construction industry 30 years ago. He’s driven to deliver projects to agreed deadlines and treats each project as if it were his own. His construction depth comes from experience managing capital improvement projects in commercial construction alongside his extensive residential construction background. Mike builds strong relationships with our clients and trades and suppliers. He makes it a point to develop a strong understanding of the client’s needs throughout a project. Mikes’s relationship and technical skills extend to his interaction with all the professionals who work on our jobs. He too knows that great relationship and partnership builds a great home or renovation. From the highly technical to the smallest detail Mike goes the extra mile to deliver on our promise to deliver ‘well-built every time.’
Debbie Kemp – Office Manager
While Steve and Mike are out on the job sites and working with new customers, Debbie takes care of everything in the office – or Chief Everything Officer as a former client used to call herself. Debbie brings 30 years in Organization and Leadership development and Coaching in Corporate Canada to her work in the family business. In the office, she works with our accounting team to support the financials, but more important and the fun part of the job is getting to know the customers needs, working with suppliers to order in selections, developing marketing materials, community involvement and more.
